My Approach
I want you to know that I’m not the perfect photographer for everyone, and that’s ok! I want to become friends, get to know who you are, how you met, the way you light each other up, how he proposed, just ALL the things! Becoming friends is how I’m able to help tell your story and capture who you truly are. If you’re looking for someone to just show and deliver pretty photos I’m probably not your girl and that’s ok! I’m here to cultivate connection and an experience (AND get you some pretty photos!)
When I’m shooting, I focus on a few things. Holding space for real, raw connection between you and your love, highlighting the environment/ venue, and documenting the complete story of the day and your love. I’m not about posing you to make you feel stiff and awkward. I’m all about the real, raw connection between you and your people. I thrive in environments that hold space for connection and experience. I thrive in intimate weddings and elopements where everyone knows everyone and there’s no pressure for the day to go a certain way. This is where my heart and creativity catch fire, and my couples get my very best. That’s what you deserve. So if you’re planning a do-whatever-YOU-want kinda day, I’m your girl!

Second, I want you to know that I’m here for you! I gotchu! Need help planning your timeline? I gotchu! Need vendor / location recommendations? I gotchu! Need coffee the morning of? I GOTCHU! Need a drink while you finish getting ready? You got it!
I’ll be there to let you know your hair or dress is out of place. I’ll tell you if your make up if smudged. Heck! I’ll loan you my shoes if you can’t walk in yours!
Bottom line, I’m here to help make your day as easy, stress free, and fun as possible. I’m here to help you connect with your people and focus on what really matters. I’m here for you!

Weddings
Getting married with all your favorite people by your side? Ready for a day of connection and love from everyone around you? I’m there. I’ll be there to document getting ready, the send off and everything in between!
Weddings starting at $2,000 for 6 hours
“shannon is an incredible talent”
Shannon was the absolute best! We interviewed several different photographers, but felt immediately connected to Shannon's warm and calm demeanor. She felt like an old friend who we could be silly and honest with. Prior to the wedding, Shannon was very communicative and asked us for all of the shots we wanted. We did not want a ton of posed photos - we were more focused on capturing the feeling of the day since we had a wedding with just 16 people. On the day of the wedding, Shannon went above and beyond. She even checked in to see if we needed anything on her way over- so thoughtful! She did a great job of capturing shots without being disruptive to the flow of the event. I also appreciated that she would fix my hair and dress to ensure our photos were perfect! Shannon photographed our backyard wedding perfectly, making it look like it could be on the cover of a bridal magazine. She captured the emotions of the day (tears, laughter, joy!) and absolutely told our story in the way we hoped for. She has an eye for using natural light to make the subject matter glow. Couples Sessions
Engagement/couple sessions
Engagement sessions are a great way to hang out and get to know each other before the wedding day but it’s an awesome way to get some amazing photos in a laidback setting and get comfortable in front of the camera. It’s also a good way to get photos for your save-the-dates, wedding invitations, and wedding website.
Starting at $400 for 1 hour
Adventure sessions
Adventure sessions, also called journal sessions in my book. Think of this as the most epic date day! I get to follow you around and fully document your love doing all the things you love! We can climb a mountain and get muddy, adventure out to the coast and get swept up in the ocean. Heck, I’ll follow you around town while you do your normal Saturday brunch, thrifting, whatever date! Anything you want to do let’s gooo!
