I want you to know that I’m not the perfect photographer for everyone, and that’s ok! I want to become friends, get to know who you are, how you met, how you got engaged, just ALL the things. Becoming friends is how I’m able to tell your story and capture who you truly are. If you’re looking for someone to just show up and deliver pretty photos, I’m probably not your girl . I’m here to help cultivate connection and an experience (AND get you some bomb photos!) I work a bit differently than other photographers. I bring a calming presence to the day and like to document the day as it unfolds , watching for the moments no one else sees.
When I’ m shooting I focus on a few things. Holding space for connection between you and your love, highlighting the environment/venue, and documenting the complete story of the day and your love. I’m not about posing you to make you feel stiff and awkward. I’m all about the real, raw connection between you and your people. I thrive in environments that hold space for connection and experience. Where everyone knows everyone and there’s no pressure. Just love. All love, all you! I’ll be there to let you know your hair or dress is out of place. I’ll tell you if your make up is smudged. Heck! I’ll loan you my shoes if you can’t walk in yours!
